I’m an institutional fundraising professional, grant consultant, and former social worker with more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector. My work focuses on helping organizations turn ambitious ideas into fundable programs, strengthen the systems behind their fundraising, and build sustainable partnerships.

Specializing in institutional fundraising and grants strategy, I have raised more than $14.5 million in public and private funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. My experience spans healthcare, social services, education, and youth development, with much of my career focused on organizations serving communities that have historically had less access to resources and opportunity.

I founded The Neurodivergent Fundraiser to bring together the different parts of my work: consulting, writing, and speaking. Through my consulting practice, I help nonprofits identify the right funding opportunities, develop compelling proposals, strengthen grant systems and infrastructure, and build more sustainable grants programs. I also write and speak about fundraising, nonprofit leadership, neurodiversity, recovery, and the systems that shape our organizations.

I draw on both professional expertise and lived experience in the questions I explore through this work. I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD as an adult, after spending much of my life navigating systems that weren’t necessarily designed with neurodivergent people in mind. I’m also in recovery, and my experiences both receiving services and later working within nonprofit systems have shaped how I think about the organizations we build, the outcomes we measure, and the people those systems are intended to serve.
